Blue Oyster Gallery Grad Show

I enjoyed the fragility of the card board boxes with the ever present screen showing the reality of fragility and vulnerability in Baghdad. The sound and visuals worked well, glowing inside the cardboard remains.

Clever contrast between the banal bleating of an American woman who thinks she's been unjustly called a name and the harrowing account of an Iraqi woman who has been brutally mistreated. Everyone has their own reality!

Prada Video
Wev are initially lulled into a benign fashion fairy story by the music and soft focus colour. However it is the same old sad message underlying the video. Whiter then white, tall thin model with alarmingly long legs moves thru her Eden, naked except for the thing a naked woman wants most........... shoes. Must be a God send to be able to computer image the perfect woman like this for advertising purposes. And will Prada be selling purple and black plaid this season? I must concede our tall white blonde did nibble on a piece of fruit - should be grateful for small mercies!
